The regal designs on these bangles are taken from the ancient visual language of the Akan and Baoulé peoples of Ivory Coast who migrated from Ghana. The bangles are handmade by artisans in Ghana, using the lost wax technique.
There are many different adinkra symbols and these bangles are just a few of the proverbs and qualities they represent.
The diameter of each bangle is aproximately 7.5 cm and it is adjustable to fit the wearer.
Material: bronze.
